Our PS4 Pro videos of Vane

Just like Ueada's productions that it tries to pay tribute to, Vane took its time to arrive in its final version, to the point many even doubted it would eventually come out. Although it is still too soon for us to tell you if the game was well worth the wait, be aware that it clearly isn't meant for everyone. To begin with, you'll need to accept the total absence of any giuding system, which means you'll have to figure out what to do and where to go by yourself. Then, you'll also have to be patient, as the game's pace is obviously very slow. Last but not least, you'll need to accept that, just like The Last Guardian in its days, Friend & Foe's title is far from being perfect in the technical department. Framerate isn't smooth despite the 2.40:1 aspect ratio chosen by the developers, the camera and the character's handling can be annoying and we have already witnessed a few bugs.

Our videos of 11-11 Memories Retold

More catching up with 11-11: Memories Retold, a game developed by Yoan Fanise, who already worked on the Great War in Valiant Hearts: The Great War. This time, the game looks dramatically different, which is either a good or a bad thing depending on your taste. Note that the soundtrack was composed by the versatile Olivier Derivière, whom we'll more than likely hear about this year. Enjoy!

Our videos of Return of the Obra Dinn

We're slowly back to business on Gamersyde and we're actually trying to catch up with the games we've missed in the past few weeks. Return to the Obra Dinn is clearly one of them and we should have told you about it way sooner. Lucas Pope (Papers, Please) is behind the game and once again, the young developer proves his skills when it comes to making great games. This time, you're an investigator trying to understand why the whole crew of the Obra Dinn was found dead. Thankfully, you can use some sort of magic talisman to go back in time and figure out what happened. For some reasons, the game does not run as well as expected on our rig (i9 9900K and GTX 1080 Ti) but we've seen no one else complain about it on the Internet. It's not a game breaker at all obviously, but it's still a bit strange.
