Yeah Ned is an awesome character. And i think Sean Bean is perfect for the role :)

So far in the books i'm really liking Tyrion Lannister! Amazing little dude :p

And yeah George is too slow, i didn't finish reading all books yet, but as it goes dude is getting old, and now with TV show, more time not writing book, since hes gona write some episodes....

Sorry. I'm so use to the series by now I sometimes throw stuff out thinking it's common knowledge, heh. Also, spoiler tags are too tempting. Probably should have let that joke alone. I would edit it out if I could.

Sean Bean makes anything he's in awesome and Tyrion Lannister is indeed another good character. The actor they have playing him fits him perfectly. In fact i'm pretty happy with most of the casting choices so far.

I'm actually on my second read-through of this series so far. Martin needs to get his ass in gear! Love how there is a real sense of danger for the characters. Very deep, and I wish all the best for the Adaptation. Here is hoping they don't pull a Greagor Clegane and rape it while spitting in it's face like Ramey did with the Sword of Truth Series...

They've announced a few more castings in these past weeks for Hodor, Pycelle(Roy Dotrice) and Samwell. All of them look pretty solid, this thing shall be BoB level of awesome.

Yep. I remember seeing a video from the dude casting for Hodor, and he seemed pretty cool. Big and strong :P

Episode 6 - "This episode will actually be penned by the worthy Jane Espenson, scribe of such shows as Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Battlestar Galactica, Dollhouse, and Caprica."

NOT good news for me. Buffy? Dollhouse? I haven't watched Battlestar or Caprica, but this makes me wary. GOT is a very serious, mature, and deep story and the have a friggin' Buffy writer in there? If I get goofy music and cheesy dialoge...

First book, First time? I love the books, and you are in for some big surprises, and not a single character is safe from the writers knife! I love the series because he really makes you worry...

There's been plenty news on the casting, and oh filming is well underway already. Made a noob video again about the cast, sucky as usual, but helps lower my excitement ^^

Thrones to be featured prior to True Blood finale

HBO has sent out an email and a tweet indicating that Game of Thrones will be included in their preview of upcoming shows prior to Sunday’s True Blood finale. Look for it to start at 8:40 PM. If it is anything like last time, the East Coast will get it before the West Coast. And Canada won’t get it at all. Thankfully HBO has assured us that they will post whatever they show to their site immediately after it airs. They’ve also promised a brand new Thrones promo image!

Sweet! Since they already did most of the filming hopefully we get a better trailer than the last teaser! Excited :)
