Skylar & Plux: Adventure on Clover Island was released on PX, Xbox One and PS4 a few weeks ago but we thought you wouldn't mind seeing the game in action on Gamersyde, in its PC and Xbox One versions. Inspired by many platformers of the 2000s, the game clearly lacks a bit of personality, a flaw to which you can add the disappointing character design and animations. Aside from that, this independent title features pretty nice open-ish environments and a catchy soundtrack. Controls are responsive and you immediately feel right at home, and unlocking new abilities makes the game more interesting than it first might seem. In the end, Skykar & Plux is a pleasant, but short (about 2 hours and a half if you don't save all the imprisoned inhabitants) ride.
