The Occupation may have received pretty mixed reviews because of a few annoying bugs and glitches, but the developers are working hard to fix them and they have just released a first patch to improve the overall experience. You're about to discover the first 10 minutes of the game, which should suffice to prove that its atmosphere is really well done.
Fixed an issue with Steve handing you your ID card in The Carson Offices.
You could lose the Silhouette Disk when swapping it with the eraser in the introductory level.
Player could get locked into the chair in the last level, forcing them to restart the level.
Fixed a player path issue in Metacentre from 2nd floor stock room to balcony, player can now climb out
Large fix to NPC navigation issues which caused AI to pass through walls and get stuck in various places in The Carson Office, The Metacentre and The Bowman Building.
On screen prompts when playing in Russian exceeded the bounds of the screen at some points.
Steve's presence was too strong in the Bowman Building. This has been toned down
Added additional clue in The Bowman Building to reinforce last gameplay objective
Silhouette Disk can disappear when you are taking it out of a pneumatic canister in the IPA
4k resolution on consoles had a cursor offset during inspect mode.
Carla was only doing Coffee animations in her meeting, she now does a full host of animations as intended.
Submitted a fix for 4k and odd resolutions causing issues on PC.
Player could get locked in the room behind Charles Bowman's office. This has now been fixed.
Following certain steps, the player couldn't trigger the set piece after the IPA building level. This has been addressed.
In the final level, the meeting could get stuck and not progress after dialogue stopping. We believe we have fixed this issue with this patch, however would love player feedback to make sure it's a secure fix.
Fixes to Motion Blur and Ambient Occlusion options in menu pause menu.
@Seth: Demon's Souls in 4K on the RPCS3 emulator is nice. And (potentially) steady 30fps. (26 minutes ago)
Time will tell. Seems like crazy things are happening in game industry lately.Bloodborne deserves better than sub-30 fps with frame pacing on top of that. (1 Hour ago)
@Seth: won't happen since Sony were directly involved in making Bloodborne. Seems anything third party that had an exclusivity deal is fair game though. (2 Hours ago)
@Seth: YES!!!!!!! You also forgot SSD's reduced loading times, better graphics and most importantly, the modding community would devour it to create all the mods we can and can't imagine. (2 Hours ago)
@Sdarts: Man, my dream is to see masterpiece like Bloodborne at 4k with 60+ fps.I hate moneyhatting shit, but secretly hope Epic do this with BB too lmao. (2 Hours ago)
Not to mention that Epic already announced a roadmap for the features coming to their store, the longer Valve waits, the better the Epic Game Store will become and the more market share Valve loses. (2 Hours ago)
Afaik, Valve only slightly adjusted the 30% share for games on its store, and only for certain games who manage to sell a certain amount. Epic is being successful, but mostly because Valve is inane. (2 Hours ago)
