Is it? I think it's a good game but I hardly hear anyone talk about it.

It's definitely not talked about much, but the people who still play it are very passionate about it. I have a friend that plays it regularly and about 2 weeks ago, we spent 2 days discussing For Honor for hours - and I don't even play it, but was thinking of what they could do to attract new players and convince veterans to return.

The current warriors, things we would like to see in the inevitable For Honor 2 - new factions like: Chinese, Egyptians, Persians, Mayans, African, Romans, Monks, possibly separate Samurais from Ninjas, change, remove and/or add new gameplay mechanics, etc.

We even talked about how a Battle Royale mode... - yes, I know, cliché as hell - but in this case if it was done properly, it could work exceptionally well. Just reduce the number of players from 100 to 60 and make team work be more rewarding and fun than doing it solo, the aim would be to make it more like the armies battles of old, like the ones in the Total War/RTS games, the ones we see in many movies and TV shows, etc.

Would be extremely hard to pull off, but if a developer is able to do it, I believe that would really stand out from all the current Battle Royale games/modes and the upcoming ones. Perhaps there already is one, but I can't think of a single Battle Royale game using exclusively melee weapons.

For Honor already has a great combat system built, the foundation is already there and they could add new things to it even if it was just in that mode. Anyway, I can literally talk for hours about For Honor, even though I have no intention of ever playing it again. But to be fair, Ubisoft has supported the game really well, just like they did for Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Siege, it's much better and far more polished than when it first launched.

droezelke @KORNdog: sssst, if you say here that the Switch doesn't sell well, you get butchered... (1 Hour ago)

KORNdog @aphex187: if i was in the market to play MS's "exclusives" at this point i'd definitely build a PC to access them. especially if you're looking for graphical superiority. (1 Hour ago)
  • aphex187
aphex187 @KORNdog: If you are a pc gamer and fancy a console then PS4 is the only real option to take. Absolutely pointless me buying an XBOX when all their exclusives come to pc anyway. (1 Hour ago)

KORNdog like, i expected switch especially to be taking way more wins per month than it has done. i thought it was flying off shelves? (2 Hours ago)

KORNdog @alimokrane: also, about NPD. how is PS4 STILL having their best sales month in may 5 years after launch and still being the best selling console? (2 Hours ago)
  • alimokrane
alimokrane That's sales in the US according to NPD. The same has been the case for Sea of Thieves so MS game sales are clearly not affected by game pass at all... (2 Hours ago)
  • alimokrane
alimokrane So State of Decay 2 sold twice as many physical copies as State of decay 1 even though it's available with game pass.... MS has to be very happy with that not to mention digital sales are not included (2 Hours ago)
