Codemasters today released a demo for GRID on the Marketplace while PSN and PC demos are planned to go up later this week. Here are some images and a video from the quite impressive demo. As you will see in the video, the AI is pretty rough and won't hesitate to use heavy force to go past you. As you play the demo, you'll see that the game is more Arcade than sim - meaning that some people won't like the way the game use drifting, but personally I like what I've seen so far. Update: First video is up, one lap in Germany. Update 2: Drifting event in Yokohama! Update 3: Let's be done with the best looking track of the three: San Francisco. I'm sure the fans of MSR and the first PGR will be delighted to see that track!
@MrWhite: It's good free marketting for the game though. (2 Hours ago)
Basically, it was a hatchet job of a review, awarding it a 3/10. They realised they fucked up and pulled it sharpish. Damage was done, though. (3 Hours ago)
of course, he was talking bollocks. Had he played it for more than 5 minutes, or spent more than 2 looking in the options for the settings, he could have sorted everything out, but he's clearly inept (3 Hours ago)
Basically what Korn said, only he went further in saying you couldn't strafe, jump properly (or at all) and the pace of the game was gimped in favour of the VR mode. (3 Hours ago)
@asdfg: Some idiot freelancer they hired. Never heard of him in my puff, and seemed like he's not even an avid gamer, nevermind someone attuned to VR (3 Hours ago)
But everything they had issues with could be changed in the option menu. So they were just spreading misinformation. The review was pulled. (7 Hours ago)
@asdfg: they complained about a load of comfort modes in borderlands VR and reviewed the game poorly because of them. (7 Hours ago)
