Mega Man 11 formally unveiled

Was wondering when this trailer would should up in high quality. I have liked everything I've seen with the exception of the running/walking animation, it looks really weird, like a cross between the two, but with all their bad sides. Still, everything else looks great a miles better than anything in Mighty No. 9.

would have preferred a pixel retro throwback tbh. never been a fan of the 3D megaman games.

I'd say this is sorta cell shaded. All the characters have a subtle black outline, and they use limited gradients.

I'm liking how this looks, both visually and gameplay (from what i can make out of the short trailer). Running animation is perhaps a little off, but the rest looks like quality. Hopefully this game manages to get the level design right, unlike Mighty No.9 which fell flat in that area.

Looks like Mighty No. 9 but good.

Maybe it's me, but is kinda funny that they omitted to show Megaman X series in the video ^^

About the game

What's up?

KORNdog @Melmoth: yeah, that's why i think it's a pretty obvious choice for the genre. but the genre seems to centre around being 100 players. i've not seen a BR with more or less yet. (7 minutes ago)
  • Melmoth
Melmoth @KORNdog: I think BF2 had 64 player in 2005 or so, but that was pc only. (11 minutes ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog @Melmoth: i'd imagine the player count is what's taken so long. besides MAG on Ps3, and planetside (which is kind of cheating) i don't know of any other game with a 100+ players outside of MMO's. (30 minutes ago)

toelessfoot PUBGs popularity may have come a little too late in the development cycle for the next BF game though, map size really matters. (51 minutes ago)

toelessfoot The first time I played PUBG DICE immediately came to mind as the dev who could potentially full realize the concept. (52 minutes ago)

alimokrane Battlefield and COD need to take a frigging break for a change, that's what's needed. (1 Hour ago)
  • Melmoth
Melmoth just surprised it took so many years for someone to adapt the concept into a game. (1 Hour ago)
