This is exactly why i stopped backing you on Patreon, every fucking video is now either static trailer, PRO gameplay or Xbone. I came to this site to see how games will look on PC and my PS4.
Barely 5% own a PRO compared to the amount who own a regular PS4, so who is this for? Or do you really think everybody who comes to this site is a PRO owner?

I understand and we are sorry if our content doesn't match your expectations, however I think your reaction is a bit too violent.

Currently, I only have a PS4 Pro at home, so I can't give you PS4 "vanilla" videos, and PC videos are coming this week ASAP, it's written in the news.

We try to do our best and comments of this type are a bit depressing.

And it's exactly because you're not backing us that we're only delivering Pro content now, see how great things turned out. :)

Now maybe next time, before complaining, you put yourself in our shoes. Only 2 of us are actually making videos now, and believe it or not, we have a day job and a family life that come first. Now consider all the video content we have given you in the past few years, and be a little grateful for god's sake.

I'm on vacation, Davton is just back from his, he's had to deal with tons of things Gamersyde related, included preview content you might be happy to see. He doesn't have a standard PS4 at home and he had to prépare the videos very late yesterday night. I guess you expect me to have kept my standard PS4 after buying a Pro with my own money (because, no the money we get with the Patreon cannot cover such expenses)? Well I did if you want to know, but I don't have all the time in the world for the website, so I can't do everything either. So give the man a break and show a little respect when it comes to the work we do here, that we try to do as well as possible - believe it or not.

Like Davton said, we're sorry that our content does not satisfy you, but that doesn't give you the right to be a jerk or a spoiled brat - especially considering you never even asked for standard PS4 vids nicely... Just a reminder btw, we made some un December for TLG so it's only been a f***** couple of months without them - and very few big releases if you ask me. As far as PC is concerned, we've provided you with all the possible content we could have (AAA and indie), so what more do you want seriously?

You don't want to give us money, that's fine, we don't want your ill-placed anger. I still wonder why you didn't take 5 minutes of your time to request some more standard PS4 content on the Patreon page or even here, before you decided to be so aggressive about it.

Don't bother answering btw. I have zero network here and I just lost 15 minutes of my vacation to reply to your comment. That's more than enough.

Some people just like to whine about anything... PS4, PRO, who cares? enjoy the video. Not everyone have the same systems, it doesn't matter.

Considering this is a Ubisoft game its actually pretty decent infact prob the best game they have produced in a long long time. Also no suprises that this n siege are easily Ubis best games and niether are open world. They need to drop their open world obsession.

Ubisoft before 2013-14 was one of my favorite publishers, they had a great variety of games that really appealed to me. The problem is not exactly their open world obsession, its that nowadays they want to turn every game into a service.

I think the problem is that they're not making exactly what you want them to.

There's nothing wrong with a service model that benefits both the game and the customer. If EA and Activision had latched on to such a thing, we'd have fewer (but better) Call of Duty games, and more than one year of content for Battlefield, etc. For a big publisher, the alternative is pumping out as much software as possible and relying on front-loaded sales.

That doesn't always produce better results.

There is no difference between PS4 and PS4 pro version as long as your 4k TV isn't bigger than 60 inches so just relax ....

Driftwood and others are doing a great job making contents ... Not their fault that technology is growing fast and new consoles come and go like flies in the air

Well.. it runs better on the PS4 Pro too. At least the beta had zero frame drops on the Pro.

They used to make amazing games, Ghost Recon, Rainbow Six, Splinter Cell, Early AC's, Rayman, ZombieU & Far Cry 3 was outstanding.

Sadly they seem to think all we want to do these days is roam around empty maps collecting items and climbing towers.

for the beta at least, they've done what a lot of devs do with pro support. some nicer coverage of effects like AO, higher resolution and a stable framerate. with a framerate being so stable though, i do wonder how it would fair at an even higher res or with better textures.

I honestly don't get how stupid people can be when they say Ubisoft used to make great/very good games. I see this here much more than in other places and it boggles the mind how narrow minded some people are.

I almost always don't reply because what's the point of arguing back and forth trying to enlighten some people and trying to just make them think a little more and exercise a little bit of wisdom when in truth they almost never admit if they are wrong - no matter what.

But just this once - for the record, to say I tried at least once - I shall indulge. Since you mentioned Far Cry 3, which came out in December 2012, I will take it from 2013 onwards. These are all the major, though not necessarily AAA, titles Ubisoft released in the 2013-2017 period:

2013:

Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag
Assassin's Creed: Freedom Cry
Call of Juarez: Gunslinger
Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon
Just Dance 2014
Rayman Legends
Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Blacklist
Trials Evolution: Gold Edition

2014:

Assassin's Creed: Rogue
Assassin's Creed: Unity
Child of Light
Far Cry 4
Just Dance 2015
South Park: The Stick of Truth
The Crew
Trials Fusion
Valiant Hearts: The Great War
Watch Dogs

2015:

Anno 2205
Assassin's Creed Chronicles
Assassin's Creed: Syndicate
Grow Home
Just Dance 2016
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege
Toy Soldiers: War Chest

2016:

Far Cry Primal
Grow Up
Just Dance 2017
Steep
Tom Clancy's The Division
Trials of The Blood Dragon
TrackMania Turbo
Watch Dogs 2

2017:

For Honor

Taking your stupid comment at face vaule, for what it states, that means all these games are not amazing: Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag
Assassin's Creed: Freedom Cry
Call of Juarez: Gunslinger
Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon
Just Dance 2014
Rayman Legends
Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Blacklist
Trials Evolution: Gold Edition

2014:

Assassin's Creed Rogue
Assassin's Creed Unity
Child of Light
Far Cry 4
Just Dance 2015
South Park: The Stick of Truth
The Crew
Trials Fusion
Valiant Hearts: The Great War
Watch Dogs

2015:

Anno 2205
Assassin's Creed Identity
Assassin's Creed Chronicles
Assassin's Creed Syndicate
Grow Home
Just Dance 2016
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege
Toy Soldiers: War Chest

2016:

Far Cry Primal
Grow Up
Just Dance 2017
Steep
Tom Clancy's The Division
Trials of The Blood Dragon
TrackMania Turbo
Watch Dogs 2

2017:

For Honor

Taking your stupid comment at face vaule, for what it states, that means all of these 18 games are not amazing: Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, Assassin's Creed: Rogue, Assassin's Creed: Syndicate, Child of Light, Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon, Far Cry 4, For Honor, Grow Home, Rayman Legends, South Park: The Stick of Truth, Steep, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege, Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Blacklist, Tom Clancy's The Division, TrackMania Turbo, Trials Evolution: Gold Edition, Trials Fusion, Watch Dogs 2.

I get people have opinions and that you may not consider any of these games amazing, which quite frankly is quite foolish in my humble opinion, and it is your loss. But no matter how you look at it, even if you don't like any of these games, common sense *should* prevail and you *should* see that just because you don't like any of them, doesn't make them not amazing.

I don't play Sports games, at all. I love real life Sports, but couldn't care less about Sports games even if I tried. Yet, I have seen many Sports games' trailers and reviews - out of curiosity and to broaden my horizons - and do understand that some are really great. I even understand in some reviews when people break it down and explain in a way even I understand how many changes, additions and subtractions a sequel got over a previous game(s). Therefore NBA 2K17 is an amazing game.

You don't actually have to like something or even not hate that something to appreciate what it is. I hate Visual Novel games, but I can still appreciate their strengths in spite of their weaknesses. No title comes at the top of my head, so I can't provide an example at the moment.

I haven't played Rainbow Six: Siege yet, but I have heard so many great things about it that even while never having actually played it, I regard it as a great game based on the cumulative positive opinions of everyone who has played the game.

At first I got the impression Ubisoft Montreal had CoDified Rainbow Six to appeal to a larger audience, but that *opinion* seems to have been completely wrong - or to those that say opinions can never be wrong, misguided then. If R6:Siege gets a third open weekend, I will do my best to try the game and see how it actually is before making a judgement.

We should at least try to strive to know things better before dismissing them completely. In the case of Visual Novels, I have never played one, ever. So while I hate that type of "game", I can't say they all suck, are bad or even average. I can only say I hate them and if asked as to why, state my reasons, nothing more.

And to try and hopefully succeed to end in a positive note, I really, really recommend you at least try: Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, Assassin's Creed: Rogue, Assassin's Creed: Syndicate, Child of Light, Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon, Far Cry 4, Grow Home, Rayman Legends, Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Blacklist, Trials Evolution: Gold Edition, Trials Fusion, Watch Dogs 2.

Some of these games, if not all of them, might really surprise you with incredible and addictive gameplay, like Watch Dogs 2, which I thought was going to be just another Watch Dogs 1 game with a few improvements here and there, but that completely changed the identity of the franchise for me, with a very unique and surprisingly very likeable story, characters, and tone. A game which the simple addition of remote controlled car and drone completely changed the formula and made me really love playing with them so much I almost always played with them, they are the true stars in the game and Marcus, the main character, is just the device - that's how I prefer to look at it.

PS. Child of Light, For Honor, Grow Home, Rayman Legends, South Park: The Stick of Truth, Steep, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege, Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Blacklist, Tom Clancy's The Division, TrackMania Turbo, Trials Evolution: Gold Edition, Trials Fusion don't have any towers to climb and with the exception of Tom Clancy's The Division, no empty maps full of items to collect.

i think it's more likely he was looking back as far as sands of time, SC, SC: chaos theory, back when ghost recon was good, back when rainbow six was good. back when rayman was a legit 3D platformer and had a decent budget, back when they gave risky titles like BG+E the time of day and money.

lets face it, ubisoft games take so many elements from each other the lines start to blur. obviously you'll have exceptions like children of light (hardly AAA) rayman legends (hardly AAA) trackmania (hardly AAA) grow home (hardly AAA) valient hearts (hardly AAA) but most of ubisofts big budget output the last...what? 10-15 years has been open world tedious side mission filled collectathons. AC1/2/3/4/5/6/7 (whatever we're up to now) far cry 2/3/4/primal/blood dragon, the division, watchdogs 1/2, ghost recon wildlands, and to some extent steep and the crew.

no, they don't all have towers to climb. but they all suffer the same fundamental problems. and they're released at an alarming rate and need 1000 man teams to make...and for what? evesdropping missions x50. pickpocket missions x100. finding random shit in the world x1000. and that's the bigger issue. they have this open world obsession. a contrived template they religiously stick to, and they release them every year, sometimes multiples in a single year. it wears thin.

so like some sort of consumer robot then? you don't form your own cognitive thoughts and opinions you just accept every game as great because others thought the same? errr....well done i guess.

Well, bugger me! Aside from small budget titles (like Trials and Grow Home), the rest (AAA) there are ok at best, and dreadfully mediocre at worst. Nothing new gameplay wise at all. Same old, same old.

The PS4 pro videos are actually a good reason to come here if you don't have one. Gotta have material out there on it to let you know if you do want one. Plus if I watch a vid on the PS4 pro version I pretty much know what to expect from the pc version and it will be at least as good as what I'm seeing on the PS4 pro. The PS4 pro material is good for pc gamers and people who don't own the system yet.
