In about two months now, the wilderness of Red Dead Redemption will be ours to discover, but until then, we can only enjoy these new images of the game. Is it just me or is it going to be a very long wait?

Ahh yes I know what else, if I am remembering correctly I read that they will reveal the MP stuff this week? I'm hoping for some kind of mission based Coop mode, if so I'll be buying a second 360 so I can play the coop with my wife, will be good fun :)
i'm looking forward to hearing more on the multiplayer myself. I can envision one team being the sheriff and deputys holding secure a bank, whilst the other team attempt to break in and steal the money.
I really hope the framerates solid too.. enough times passed since GTA4 for them to iron out all the kinks to that engine
There's a Free Roam mode confirmed. You can join up with friends and travel the game world, going to saloons, have bar fights, play poker. You can even start a posse!

man thats sweet, i just read that you no longer lobby, you get ported right into the online world town with other gamers, from there you can go about doing stuff in the MASSIVE world :P, sounds great
That's one helluva an egine. Maybe they need to license the engine the same way Epic licenses the Unreal Engine. I have seven must have games on my list this year. That's one more game than the average 5-6 that I purchase yearly, so there's no extra cash left for anything else unless the Natal peripheral is as great as they perceive it to be.

Just watch the gameplay videos of the game, and then tell me it doesn't indeed look....amazing. Either way, i read all the previews last week, and damn this game

Lol indeed, even his hat reacts to the wind in a realistic way at 1:30 in the video.
This game just looks so damn good, it's really a visual masterpiece...WOW! It definitely needs more AA though, and the shadows could do with less artifacting...
Err, oh...just realised I replied in the wrong topic. I had opened the topic with the latest Red Dead Redemption trailer from the front page, but got confused with the layout of the "reply" button in relation to the corresponding post. So I went to off to that topic via the "news forum", which displays the comment section in a 'friendlier' manner, but somehow ended up in the wrong topic.
