@Melmoth: yeah, that's why i think it's a pretty obvious choice for the genre. but the genre seems to centre around being 100 players. i've not seen a BR with more or less yet. (12 minutes ago)

@Melmoth: i'd imagine the player count is what's taken so long. besides MAG on Ps3, and planetside (which is kind of cheating) i don't know of any other game with a 100+ players outside of MMO's. (35 minutes ago)
