GSY Live Xbox One

What better way to start the week-end than to join us as we play games on our newly-received Xbox One X? Tonight, starting at 9:15 pm CET we'll show you all the titles you wish to see the most (provided we own them) and will share our thoughts on Microsoft's new console.
Update: Replay added. We'll add the embedded videos from YouTube when the stream is ready.
Update 2: Embedded videos added.

Drift, can we suggest games here beforehand?

I'm asking because as one of EuroGamers articles mentions, because of 4K assets, many XBX games are very big in size and require additional time to download.

If yes, my suggestions would be to try the most troubled or graphically and physics demanding games. Examples would be:

- Assassin's Creed: Unity;
- Just Cause 3;
- Final Fantasy 15;
- Fallout 4;
- The Evil Within 2;
- The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt;
- Rise of the Tomb Raider;
- Project Cars 2 (with as many cars as possible, rain, etc.);
- Prey;
- Assassin's Creed: Origins;
- Watch Dogs 2;
- Mass Effect: Andromeda;
- For Honor.

I'm sure there are many more, but those are the ones that came to my mind and the ones I could find Digital Foundry's articles that said the consoles versions or the Xbox One version in specific had some shortcomings.

I'm sure not all of them will have a Xbox One X patch, but I believe it would still be very interesting to see how much improvements on general things like frame rates, load times, stuttering, and many other areas some troubled games would get, where just the fact that XBX has more power and better design might eliminate or at least diminish some of these issues.

Like The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt's swamp and Novigrad areas, Fallout 4's cities low performance, Assassin's Creed: Unity's places with thousands of NPCs, Just Cause 3's overall bad performance on consoles - specially during combat and explosions, etc.

Those are the ones I'm - and I'm sure many people - interested in knowing how much, if at all, Xbox One X improves even without specific patches. Which realistically, most games won't get. But they could still get improvements because of raw power alone and how much can one expect on average. Though this last question might only be answered by Digital Foundry.

Lastly, can we expect some Framerate analysis videos and/or comparison videos for some games, like you guys did with The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - like the examples below?

Gamersyde - TW3: 1.05 update stress test

Thanks in advance and if I can, I will definitely watch the livestream.

PS. I say "if I can" because Warframe's Devstream 100 is today and they're doing a 2 hour special episode with many announcements, addressing the most demanded questions by the community, etc. So it's not missable, but if it finishes before your livestream, I will definitely tune in. In case it doesn't, I will watch the replay as I always do. I like hearing those French accents. :)

Don't have any of those I'm sorry.

RofTR hasn't been patched so there is no reason to show it. It's the same with TW3 (although it runs more smoothly in the swamps) and MEA.

Okay thanks for the reply.

Also, thanks for the info about The Witcher 3's swamps, it's very nice and exactly the type of thing that makes the Xbox One X worth the added $150-200 for those who hate or can't stand low framerates and constant framerate drops in games.

As I've come to realize through many comments in games sites, a large portion of gamers are very sensitive to those issues and avoid games with them at all costs since they make them very sick. This should hopefully elimininate or alleviate those issues for them.

I hope Gamersyde's partnership with the Xbox Network will flourish even more now that the Xbox One X is out. The games codes they send to you guys will be perfect to run Xbox One X tests if you guys have the time and desire to do so.

PS. Good luck with the livestream, I hope many people watch it.
