Lumines Live--Wednesday!

Lumines appeared on PartnerNet (1200), along with a downloadable contents package (600). Maybe this is indication it's coming next week...

Are people with access to partnernet allowed to post impressions? I would love to know what we're getting for 1200pts. Hopefully this does indeed drop next week. About damn time..better include multiplayer, damnit!

Hmmm probably not....but it's a good sign that it's coming soon. Mind you, Roboblitz has been on there off and on for ages!

Hope..fading. Still hope it's next weeks release..that would be nice. I just want to know if the 1200pt package includes multiplayer or not--and how many skins? I'll go play lumines 1 while I wait. I hope it's successful and Q entertains the idea of adding EEE to the arcade--would be a perfect fit!

It could mean either way to be honest. Usually an appearence on Partnernet is a good sign that something is coming out soon-ish. On the other hand, it's primary use is for testing and the fact that Lumines has a multiplayer component and extensive DLC means there is a lot that needs to be tested in this area!

If someone has been religiously checking partnernet and only just noticed it, I'd be suprised if this was the first time it had appeared. I never look that often but it wasn't last week. :S

I thought after the controversy somebody from MS confirmed that the base package would include multiplayer. Maybe an add-on would support additional mp modes or something, though.

Another "sign" that could mean something or nothing: on xboxlivepipeline.com, Lumines Live is the only game listed as "Coming Soon". It was Lumines and Dig Dug earlier this week. No other unreleased games are even on the site.

This has to be one of my favorite and best puzzle games ever....and can't wait to play this on my big LCD screen with some videoclip running in the back and the sound system pumping...:P

2. 20K - Play Challenge Mode "Base" and score 20,000 points. (20 points)

3. Time Attack 60sec. : 30 blocks - Play Time Attack Mode 60sec. and erase 30 blocks. (10 points)

4. Time Attack 180sec. : 90 blocks - Play Time Attack Mode 180sec. and erase 90 blocks. (10 points)

Major Nelson hinted at a fairly notable Arcade release this week. It's either Lumines or UMK3 as the latter is definitely October last I heard and they're both on Partnernet.

Maybe its a hint to Lumines comming to the arcade.

It's a puzzle game, and a damn good one--a genre which Q Entertainment seems to have mastered. Every Extend Extra and Meteos are also both quite good.
