yea I played the original Kiddy hearts for like 40 minutes but the camera in that game was awful... I think they improved it in the sequels but that same team is making this game. Could be good if they learned all the lessons

Character models are awesome (maybe even better than Yakzua models in cut-scenes). But city is way behind Yakuza-level of graphics (too empty). Still graphics looks strong and are definitely improved compared to FFXIII.

I don't like the change in Noctics look. Now he's more emo-like sceenkid rather than smooth royal person. That woman in armor is an art-design joke. Stella on the other hand is looking magnificent and far more alive (only her shoes are silly).

Technically the graphics of the city are ahead of Yakuza by a fair margin, Yakuza has alot more low poly stuff, worse lighting, and poorer effects...but it could do with more peopling.

dont know why but it looks like it plays on earth. hope this game stays PS3 exclusive. the xbox dont deserve it. the xbox port from xiii was so bad compared to the PS3 version(3 discs lol, downgraded graphics & sound)

This game is looking pretty nice, BUT, I hope they do away with the d-pad selection of commands. That shit sucked in the Kingdom Hearts PS2 games and was fixed in Birth By Sleep. Hopefully, they go to the Birth By Sleep model.

not sure what you mean. commands are still selected with the d-pad in BBS. albeit executed with the triangle. and X is always attack

Well, you had sub-menus in the PS2 KH games. You had none of that in BBS. And you couldn't attack while scrolling through the menu because "X" was select. I personally want them to do away with the sub-menus and sreamline to the extent of BBS.

i find it very shallow.Im not expecting this to be very deep as its an action RPG but I rather it be a bit more complex than the BBS system

It was deceptively shallow. On harder difficulties, you had to choose your commands wisely to maximize battle solutions and it was actually deeper than the KH2 battle system in any case (game was a cakewalk and there was a lot of fluff moves that didn't help on harder difficulties).

I havent played Kingdom Hearts, but I do see the combat similairities.
Combat in that game is putrid vomit, and with a crap camera to boot... the game fails on so many levels i cant understand why its got such a avid fan base.
